Have had a morning at work and an afternoon in the garden.

Pulled all the s, emptyed all the pots of soil. Now to go to the garden centre and make the garden look pretty!!!

Then to get a little table and seat set. And a little BBQ and I will have a happy summer.

Who has green fingers and likes gardening??

I hate it but hubby is a proper little "percy thrower" so I leave him to it.

I have a simple.. patio stone garden with just a foot of edging around the side of the garden to plant some plants!!!

Im far from green fingered and like just a simple garden with no fuss.. and not much work.

but I do have a lovely weeping willow tree .

Somewhere in North Norfolk

My dad loves gardening so I don't get much of a chance.

My parents live 15-20 miles or so away so as far as he's concerned my garden is an extension of his

I don't mind. I'd learn to look after it if I needed to but he makes a better job of it than I would, and he enjoys it.

Dad has been told I'd like an area of plants for bees and butterflies though. That's quite important to me.

He's going to plant some vegetables too, though whether I can keep the pigeons off them remains to be seen.

I'm going to have to learn to cook it!

I could request salad veg perhaps.

I don't think you need worry about growing melons
