Weekend in York 9/10/11 May

We are having a cpl of nights away from the kids at a hotel in York between 9 - 11 May. Besides the usual tourist traps, do any of you have any recommendations on how we can enjoy ourselves whilst over the boarder in Yorkshire ? .... Both naughty and nice ideas welcome !

York : a big church, tea shops, chocolate and stag do's

Not much else to it really

You could always go and look at the train museum I suppose

Depends on what your seeking, maybe see a play or music act, railway museum, air museum at dunnington, lunch in revolution bar overlooking the river

Sorry Yorkie's , I actually love your little city but have only ever really done the 'tourist' thing

i.e. wandered round going oooh and aaaah and then spent 6 hours queuing for a £10 ham butty in Betty's

well thats enough "nice" stuff .... now what about evening activities. There dont seem to be any clubs in York (thats "our" type of clubs !!!)

I think you might have more chance of 'fun' by seeking out the locals tbh, see who's playing out that weekend.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

There are no swinger clubs in York. Isis Quest is in Leeds and Youtopia is near Malton. There's a lapdancing club on Micklegate though, but I've never been.

You could try contacting funkyspunky102 as they sometimes arrange parties in the York area. Shame you're not up for 2 May as its the York social.
