But, to me, it appears that forums ( which I'm new to ) are clicky and full of mock back slapping and faux sentiment. Anyone who speaks up, or has a different opinion is pilloried by the rest.

You have to say nothing or say what everyone wants to hear.

My honesty is harsh / but it's honesty nevertheless.

I'd rather be unpopular and honest than sanctimoniously full of shit.

I will say it how i see it and will not say things just to fit in here .. A forum should be a mix of views and it is a lot of the time here i find .

I haven't read the forum much today but...

Quite often communications are slightly broken, conveyed in the wrong way or just not put too well. People also like to argue a little.

By composing this thread you definitely seem like you revel in the contentiousness anyway. People disagree all the time (on here and in real life)and that is fine but starting a thread about it just shows that you are actually quite bothered by it.

Don't take things too seriously on here and you'll have a much better time.
