I also read that the Russian Navy released a dozen pirates, kindly providing them with an inflatable boat and a battery driven beacon, rather than subject them to the stresses of a farcical legal process back in Moscow.

way to go russki's.

although part of me thinks they maybe should have waited until the pirates had legal representation ( one each ) before they released them.
