accommodate or not ?

Why do people have that they can accommodate on there profile, when what they mean is they can get a hotel room. In that case can't we all accommodate ?

some people don't pay for hotel rooms. Some prefer to rather than have strangers in their home

Because they can't really accommodate in their home but don't want to say so if it puts people off.

have noticed more single women writing on their profiles must be able to accom in own home - sometimes we cant accom but this is clear on our profile and happy to get a room if need be
