i only verify people that i really do like...wouldnt just leave one to be polite...sooooooo.....if the person i leave one for chooses not to display on his profile....what does that mean??? and we have met since i left it so assume he wasnt horrified the first time!!!

just wondered what you lot think his reasons for not showing it might be?

I really like someone who left a verification for me, really good mates with another, in fact he recommended this place to me. Thing is, I don't like everyone to know who I shagged, when and how great I am! lol So, so long as I have the tick, privacy remains, we're all happy as I can privately read those verifications, remember the afternoon/evening and smile!

I gave verfications in response, happy to do so, then I got a mail from this guy who said he knew who I'd met when, was glad I'd had a good time, so I then also hid my friends list!

Privacy/discretion is important, not that I'm married asI'm not, but have grown kids who know their way around the net, hence no pics here - it can always not be me cos they can't see me and have no details!

Its down to him, some people may not want to have meet verifications on their profiles. I limit the number on my profile, does not mean that my meets have been horrific.

its the control freak part of my nature coming out......im so fussy about who i verify i felt sort of insulted he didnt display it when hes lucky i gave him one!! whoops! lol

I have a small group of friends I play with on a regular basis and we haven't verified each other.

We know we're real, we meet up and have lots of fun, no one needs to know.

I have a couple of men I meet once a month for coffee, I like them but they don't meet my play criteria: short, bi etc. The verifications wouldn't be of a sexual nature, but again I don't see the need and neither do they.

My own personal preference: I don't feel the need to document everyone I meet of this site. What someone else thinks about someone I may play with is of little consequence to me!

I dont show my list of friends or my verifications cos I have been "stalked" my another fem on another site. Everyone I met with she pestered to meet. Some of the guys were not interested in her and she got very demanding and nasty, insisting that she hadto "have" them cos I had! Most unsavoury. I just keep my private life private now, just cos I swing doesnt mean everyone has a right to know. I do send veris to guys that want one, it does not seem to be so fraught! lol

I keep mine hidden as I prefer not to "notch the bedpost" and I can understand some ppl who "wish to remain annon" too. But mainly I dont want any prospective contacts perusing my list and thinking they're "not my type" just on the basis of who is listed there, I'd rather they sent a message and made contact so we can then decide if we meet. As I judge people on their own merits and dont have a particular type.
