My son has decided nannies house is better than home, theyve been shopping (I expect he was spoilt) cleaned the car.. planted the garden and made cakes..

shes let him choose whats for dinner so he rang me to say hes staying there again tonight..

ive made no plans and now am sat at home, just put some Mediterranean veg in the oven and gonna enjoy with pasta. Might push the boat out and drink my wine!!!!

We are at the inlaws so I'm going to make charming conversation with my mother in law and pretend I like her cooking. Her dad is a tight wad so cheep wine or a can of kestrel will be all I'm offered and it'll on be one glass. They are nice people though, just a little strange.

I said goodbye and paid my respects earlier today and tonight I'm being chauffeur fetching people from a wedding. In the meantime there's a pizza in the fridge and I might just pop to the shop for some chocolate
