tatoo removal queries

My partner has a tattoo with an ex's name that she wants removed.

I assume laser removal is the only method of removal.

Is it a case of diminishing returns with the first accounting for the greatest fading and so on?

Typically how many sessions are needed for something about 4" by 2"?

How much typically each lasering too?

Thanks

Cost will depend on where you go. Look on deal websites as they often have deals for laser removal.

Success depends on colour. Some pigments are harder to get out than others.

She could also have it covered up by another tattoo although it would be bigger than her current one.

Cover ups can be a good option and produce some great results with the right artist!!

There's a clinic in Litchfield that does it. I forget the name of the place but I had laser treatment there for scar reduction. It cost me ,£1000 for ten treatments but a small tattoo won't cost anything like that. I'll see if I can find the name of the place for you.

I've had some lasering on an old tattoo for a cover up, its not gone completely as it doesn't need to be for a cover up but I had 5 sessions, usually 5 to 7 depending on the colour, size, quality etc. Bloody hurts like hell though!

The clinic is called Mode-clinic. I can't post a link but if you slap '.co.uk' after 'mode-clinic' their website may appear.

Thanks for the advice. We will check mode clinic out.

Will let you know how it turns out when we can save up for it.

This is why I don't have any tattoos

Kent

I had mine covered.

Couldn't afford laser removal and the cover up cost me £80. But it was fairly small and so the cover up wasn't massive.

And after watching that my tattoo hell programme I didn't fancy it! Looks agonising. X
