From the ages of fourteen to seventeen I was a skinhead so Levi red tab jeans, Brutus or Ben Sherman shirts or Fred Perrry T shirts. Sta press trousers and braces and if dressing smart a tonic suit and of course the obligatory DM's. Then I was a casual so Pringles , la coste, farah, lyle & Scott and Sergio tachini were the order of the day. I looked a right tart when dressed up.

Awful things. Like lace up cornish pasties.

Ironically, just the type of shoes that I am starting to look at again and think 'ooh those look comfy'

At work just last week the girls were talking about pork pie shoes. Tried to find a pic online but they are literally nowhere to be seen...anyone got a pic of a pork pie shoe?! "

Think they were called polyvelts or something similar

Jeans/ combats and heavy metals Tshirts.

Sergio Tacchinni/ Kappa/Addis gear was the in thing to wear, along with a berghaus coat.

"Baggy Jeans, Indie band T-Shirts such as James, Inspiral Carpets, PWEI, Wonderstuff, Carter USM & Jesus Jones and floppy Curtain hairstyle.

I miss the 90s "

Totally this for me with girlie additions of floral skirts, opaque stripy tights, DMs, cut -off jeans, hair-wraps, charity shop dresses and anything 'ethnic'. And always red lipstick.

Tank tops, shirts that had collar flaps like the size of aeroplane wings, checked flared trousers and of course, vest and y-fronts which was pretty much what every boy wore, yes, this was the seventies!
