Sex is nothing to be ashamed about. Most of my friends and family know how I choose to spend my time. You shouldn't have to hide who you are, it's not healthy leading a double-life. That said, of course keeping things from your professional life is often a good idea.

I think it's a shame people have to lie about who they are and what they enjoy. Sex is a celebration and extension of self. Embrace it and let others embrace it too. People who frown up this kind of thing, are often the ones who are unhappy with themselves and afraid of their own sexuality.

No offence but that's garbage. I do not wish my mother and father to know that Mrs P and myself indulge in threesomes, foursomes and morsesomes and we attend clubs to have sex with strangers. We are not lying just not telling them. We are not hiding who we are or living a double life. We are very happy with our choice of lifestyle but not everybody has to like it or know about it. I've never met a couple as happy as my parents and I'm sure they're happy with their sexuality but I know they would be confused if I told them what our hobby is. This doesn't make them bad people.
