I have been on here for a while and it has come to my attention that most women and couples do not know the meaning of curvy or fat. Kim kardishan is curvy, Beyonce is curvy. Adele is FAT. Get your profile description correct please

"Why do you guys have to get defensive. I'm not against big women. I respect everyone's preferences. Just asking people to be honest"

Does it matter???

Are you going to start policing profiles that say attractive/young/professional/good sense of humour and tell them they are wrong as well. People idea of curvy/slim/athletic/ample differ on here a lot. As do people's idea of what is good looking etc. as long as people have pics that you can see let them get on with it then they can judge for themselves

I'm a curvy fat girl..there is no option for that. I do however have enough photos for people to judge what they are getting.

And size is very much in the eye of the beholder..... Last bbw event I got turned down for being too slim.. . So one person's ample may be another's slim

How about asking the men to sort out the difference between athletic and slim, and average and ample then? And as for the "rugby player build" being athletic, well that's a classic.

But no, you've nothing against us fat women, which is why you're singling us out.

The descriptions here are pretty subjective. One person's fat is another person's curvy. It's all about personal interpretation.

Manage your own profile, use the photos to decide if you are attracted to people and let other people describe themselves and manage their profiles as they choose.

Seriously, how arrogant to think you can dictate to everyone else how they should describe themselves.

I kinda half agree, I wouldn't say they have to get their description correct: however it is in their interest to do so as it will save them angst when people do turn them down and are less than sensitive.

So you're being a controversial person then!

And last time I checked self identification was all the rage. Its posts like this that cause anger, upset and general feelings of shite about oneself.

I know I'm fat, its fine for me to call myself fat but anyone else calling me it takes their life in their hands.

Oh and if Adele is fat, I'm Jabba the bleeding Hutt!!

You've already agreed that the terms mean different things to different people though. I describe myself as large. Some may think I'm ample, or enormous. How can we be accurate when nobody can agree on what the terms mean?

Some guys think 14+ is fat. Some guys think 18 is average.

Use the photos and find something more important to worry about.

All three are beautiful ladies, Beyoncé, Kim and Adele. I read a magazine article today about Kim Kardashian having butt implants - so are all her curves natural?

Fat is not an option as a body size on a profile. I think I have chosen ample, & think that is fair. Like others have said though, it's subjective so someone's curvy may be another person's ample etc etc! Same with athletic versus slim. At the end of the day we are individuals here to have fun. So, I for one, do not get too hung up on labels, I will either click with someone or I won't.

On that note I'd best go eat another slice of chocolate fudge cake!

jolly good! You know you're going to get peoples backs up with this post don't you? I do. But it's a forum and I'm not calling anyone fat lol

So you're being a controversial person then!

And last time I checked self identification was all the rage. Its posts like this that cause anger, upset and general feelings of shite about oneself.

I know I'm fat, its fine for me to call myself fat but anyone else calling me it takes their life in their hands.

Oh and if Adele is fat, I'm Jabba the bleeding Hutt!!"

Posts like this only make you feel shit about yourself if you let them or if feel shit about yourself anyway

I'm a curvy fat girl..there is no option for that. I do however have enough photos for people to judge what they are getting.

And size is very much in the eye of the beholder..... Last bbw event I got turned down for being too slim.. . So one person's ample may be another's slimyou are very correct. I don't know why people are acting like it's war or something "

Eh?! The point was (the way i read it anyway) is that you just called Adele fat... but to some people she would not be classed as fat.... which is the total opposite to what you just said.

Maybe we should do away with the selection and have an empty box. That way you can use your own words. I would class myself as large. 16 stone but it's muscular. However I wouldn't class myself as athletic. "

Well I am fabulous. A size 18.great tits nice round and firm with very responsive nipples. Great sense of humour. Tight where it matters, and u know wat confidence is more important than anything and I can give anyone a run for their fun. So that's wat makes me fabulous. Not fat or curvy and as long as I am. Happy that's all that countsxxxxx

In the UK size 16 is average. I'm not saying its a good thing that the avergae dress size is a larger one.... but it is.

SO... how does that tie in with your guidelines?

He has stated that "most" women and couples are dishonest though.

It's not difficult to see why that, and the tone of the post, would gets people's backs up. That and the fact he's singling women and couples out for criticism again.

As pointed out, a couple of us think his chosen descriptor is "dishonest" so who made him the authority on body shape?

A person will describe themselves as they wish . No amount of huffing and puffing will ever change that. As said people will perceive things differently , that's just human nature .

After all what I would consider curvey or fat may well differ to others .Just as some guys guys definition of "well hung and "good girth " differs greatly in some cases to mine.

If it's not what you want then easy to just move on , don't see point in stressing of the minuser. Meet who you want and don't meet ppl you don't ..simples

It sometimes hard to put yourself into a category.

I've put 'average' but I also be considered 'curvy'. I'm not as large as some ladies so could be 'athletic / slim' ~ on the other hand I am larger than others so maybe I should put 'ample'...

It's in everyone's interest to describe themselves as best they can & photos help with that.

Cardiff

The way you wrote the message is a bit insulting to some of the larger ladies on fab. How about the slimmer girls and the guys who put the 'wrong' sizes, why is it just the larger ladies. Everyone has different perceptions on their own size and who cares! Look at the pics and if you don't like what you see don't message. Why give these beautiful larger women a complex by labelling 'fat.'

Maybe they should change the descriptions from curvy/average etc. to the names of appropriate famous people instead.

"Why do you guys have to get defensive. I'm not against big women. I respect everyone's preferences. Just asking people to be honest"

why? well maybe you should read your op, there might be a reason in that

If we are going to put people in little boxes/categories could we please use something other than X-Factor (insert other down market shite as applicable) winners? ... I refuse to google these people and have no clue what they look like.

Thanks for your attention

FAT bitch here. N let's see my profile I'll put what I want ... Curvy Ample same why slim and not skinny. Or big tits, or fried eggs. Big dick. Not worth the bother. Buy a blow up doll n don't blow it up if ya can't cope with real people. But hey just my opinion ...... Mwah Mwah.

Oh dear, been knocked back by a larger lady who you thought was on here because she was desperate for a shag?!

If you don't like what you see OP and fem is not for you then pass that profile by... Simples.
