Would you put your real name on a site like this? and if you do, is it a turn off if someone else you want to meet turned out that they dont give their real name in here?

Yes because im easily confused and ignored people when they called me by the name I chose to call myself

If someone tells me their name im not offended if they tell me at a later date their real name,just don't expect me to change what ive been calling you previously

I use my own name despite having had a work alias for many years that I would still answer too!! Can't say it bothers me if people don't use their real name though. It is odd though when you've known someone by another name for some time then find out it's not real. I do try and call them their real name but in my head and phone they're still their alias!

I use my real name but don't display it... can be a filter for the returning profiles who claim they know me but don't use my name. I've had a few switch to their real name on me, sometimes after months of meeting and it confuses my little brain so I tend to either avoid using names altogether or call everyone the dreaded 'hun' so I don't risk getting it wrong

Its not a secret that I'm not called Ruby! I've always used Ruby as my swinging name... However my OH needs to get it into his head that I answer to Ruby at socials after spending our time at Xtasia a few weeks ago introducing me by my real name!! He uses his real name.

Lol aww that's ace I can watch peppa pig for hours.......I shouldn't be freely admitting this on the forums....err....I'm a rough tough northerner with a buzzcut really everyone.....I have tribal tattoos too to prove it see....and a dragon, and dragons are both cool and hard eh (phew.....think I've gotten away with that)

Of Greek decent I assume then? I have family on the greek side in Manchester, and the orthadox church there is where I used to go when I was a kid....will probably be there at easter in fact, just to catch up with the family....

It was the tattoo that got me into peppa conversely.....

My exes little girl wanted to pic me a tat, I said should she do well at school she could....she did well and a promise is a promise....not that I knew she'd pick peppa like....that was a strange day going into a tattoist in Glasgow holding a printout of peppa pig she'd fetched me...

It's one of my fave tats now though I think

Nope no Greek in them. 2 of them are black and of Jamaican decent.

I didn't know the name had any roots in the carabian.....that's pretty interesting to hear....I've only ever cone across it in the greek community personally......cool
