"Yes there is!! Add up the ratio to work out how many parts there are altogether, for example 3:5 would be 8 parts altogether. Then divide your total number by that amount. So say you had 40 cakes to share in the ratio 3:5 you would divide 40 by 8. That would tell you what one part is, so in this example it would be 5 cakes. Then you can work out what 3 parts are by multiplying (15) and 5 (25). Its always good to check they add up to the initial amount, 15+25=40, so we know we are right! Does that help? " mean - the cruel and 'mean' option, total all the numbers up and divide by how many figues there are mode - which number appears MOst is the MOde medium - the 'middle' numerical order and which is the middle number, if there isnt one take the sum of the two numbers in the middle and divide by 2 | |||
