I, no doubt,will come across a bit dim with this question, but, what does it mean when somebody pokes you in chat. Please be kind if the answer is something really simple. Thank you all.

They are trying to bug the shit out of you...hence why I don't go in chat anymore..those here that go in Canada KNOW what I'm talking about you bastards!
