Porn, what's the harm BBC3

Did anyone watch this last night?

I found the presenter really biased on the subject. Young lads and lasses will probably see porn before they're 18. It's a sad fact of life. I, like quite a lot of you, saw porn in mags or videos. There was no internet at that time.

And when she interviewed a girl whose photo had been shared around schools, it seemed she [the girl being interviewed] was given a script to read from. She said "to be desired is to be empowered" at one point. Just seemed a strange thing to say.

That's how I found it anyways.

I did watch it and Panorama it wasn't!

However it is a growing concern, porn is so easily accessible these days it does give teens an unrealistic idea of what sex is supposed to be like. In my day the most I saw was my dads Readers Wives and the odd 10 minute freeview!

My 5 and 6 year olds were recently involved in an incident where a child of similar age climbed on top of them and simulated sex, including some choking (fully clothed). This was investigated and it turned out the childs 10 year old brother had been watching x hamster on his Ipad!

Very scary as a parent!

The Town by The Cross

It's not only teens that get unrealistic ideas about sex.

Porn is what fuels many people to log on here.

Witness the number of men who approach women as if they are ready for any kind of abuse because they are sexual beings.
