My phone charger broke !!!!

Was without phone for three hours

Until got a new one

Longest three hours of my life

Except being labour

This thread is slightly tongue in cheek but I have very elderly parents who sometimes need to get in touch with me urgently and they rely on me being contactable at all times.

As I don't have a computer of any kind mine does everything, from texting and calls to email and fab, so I'm fairly lost without it

It's sods law. The times when it's flat/left at home/broken/lost/stolen is the ONLY time that I'm desperately needed by a family member and when I can finally get back to it, there are frantic messages and texts.

At all other times, they don't call me from one end of the week to the next.

My phone is used for practically everything. Paying bills, going online, keeping contact with friends and family, watching YouTube videos at work to pass time, I forgot it once at home, longest night ever. Kinda like a job, once you get one, really can't go without.
