a very plush appartment off junt 7 M5

This is one for the men really

I think maybe that most men DO like a women who says so called dirty words during sex and foreplay (or do they? I don't know, you tell me!)

But do men REALLY like women that swear a lot in their every day life?

Is it sexy?

Is it nasty?

Is in necessary?

Is it clever?

What do you think?

In every day life I find it unecessary (and I am being the worlds biggest hypocrite here), however in the bedroom I find it a massive turn on. I probably find it a bigger turn on BECAUSE it is a taboo in every day life.

well it all depends on the situation really, i mean if a lady was blowing off some steam cos something had majorly pissed her right off then i would understand, depending on the severity of the swearing & where we were of course lol

i prefer a lady to be a lady but anything goes in the bedroom

It maybe sounds a bit sexist, but females swearing is a big NOOOOOOO for me.

Now at the height of passion, that might be a little different if it comes into the area of 'naughty talk'!!

FFS, I swear because I have worked in manufacturing dominated by men for nearly 20y.

I avoid swearing in front of kids or in the company of people who do not know me well.

Mind you, I don't swear a lot, however, there are times when nothing will hit the spot except to use the F word!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I think it's about credibility.

I have no problem with swearing generally, but sometimes "bedroom swearing" sounds false and/or forced...at which point I'd probably have to stop.

...and sort out some sort of gag...

In a woman a little is acceptable but excessive is very low rent.

In a man it shows a lack of maturity unless its in the hight of passion in the bedroom.

Clever? Never but it can be rusticly charming if your playing with a bit of ruff.

My old dad used to say that swearing shows a lack of intelligence and learning.

Be it men or women.

He never ever swore and said that those who do , dont have the intelligence to think of appropriate wording.

Bless his cotton socks, he aint heard me when playing pogo ....mind, im on me own at the time.

And im with maddie on this.

sometimes its good just to let it go and give in to a good fcuk

little house on the praire

I swear far more on here than i do in everyday life, i dont use it in normal sentences only when someone pisses me off. But for some reason i used it quite alot when typing. When im in the bedroom well the air definatly turns blue then lol

I know I use profanity a lot so I realise this will come across as hypocritical but I am really not turned on by women that swear in every sentence. I guess I expect it from men but not from women.

I swear like a fucking trooper when i'm in the pub, at the football, work, etc etc.

I never swear in the house.

Woman who swear in normal conversation to me are best avoided.

I have always worked in a very heavily laden swear enviroment and swear as much if not more than most at work.

However time and place for everything and swearing by men or women is a major turn off for me i have to say.

I know what you mean about the working environment…. sadly I now work somewhere where the F’s have to be kept quiet……. so I save them all up to use on the forum

Mind you, I'd sooner listen to someone say something funny or clever with swear words added, than listen to someone making crass, course and vulgar non-humorous comments (even without the feck, fuck, arse, wank or bollox included).

I think excessive swearing on a reglar every day basis is coarse and unnecessary wether its from a woman or a man (ok maybe im a bit of a snob or old fashioned but thats me)

I do swear sometimes but try to keep it to a minimum and dont mind people swearing a bit just as long as its not every sentence.

In the bedroom its horny obviously but thats a whole different thing

I prefer it if hand gestures are used in the bedroom instead of actual swear words...Mind have got a black eye a few times when being gestured too vigerously....

There's a time and place for everything.

Swearing may be O.K during sex but I hate to hear a woman cuffin and fuffin in every sentence during normal conversation,it's a real turn off. R

Totally agree - swear words are words- they can be used crassly by the uneducated or cleverly by the smart folk. WOuldn't judge man or woman who swears a lot - i do cause it was common place in my house growing up all depends on your enviroment.

I love dirty talk at the height of passion though - the dirtier the better - with one exception - never the c word please!

I work in a male dominated industry and never swear. I dont feel I get less respect because I refuse to swing them with the big boys, in fact usually, as the only woman in the room, I often get more.

I'm with Stephen Fry, one of the the wittiest, most urbane men on the planet who counters the "if you have to swear it is because you have a limited vocabulary" argument with "That is total arse-gravy, I swear because I fucking love it!"
