I'm (mr) are one of a rare few people that hate texting anyway, I prefer to make the phone call. Boss used to send me work by text till it bit him on the arse and I didn't get it.

I often fail to answer texts within a few hours due to not having my phone near me for huge stretches of the day for work reasons, yet if someone I like doesn't text me back immediately I assume it's because they're no longer interested. That's why I get aggravated with myself instead, it's far easier!

Yes this! He's not at work I know that, but we were out till the small hours drinking so it's possible he could be sleeping. It's been about three hours now

I have lots of people on Whatsapp. If I'm online I would get fed up with people pestering me to chat just because they see me online. It's not always possible to chat to someone

I have lots of people on Whatsapp. If I'm online I would get fed up with people pestering me to chat just because they see me online. It's not always possible to chat to someone "

I don't consider it pestering, we're all adult, if I cannot chat to a friend/meet I just say 'Hi, sorry, can't chat now.' My friends therefore know if I don't answer I am driving or truly busy, not playing games. I just consider it basic manners I guess.

If I am at work then they have to wait, I might be able to do a quick text....but most times I am in meetings and my phone is left on my desk, I don't stress if someone doesn't text me back as I know, they may be busy doing other stuff, it's not always a conspiracy you know
