Does any other woman feel pestered on here to meet men.

I am fed up of the abuse i get just because i dont want to meet someone.

Most of the time i just let it slide, but when its constant, its a bit much

I've only once had a bit of abuse when I've turned someone down and it was simple to block the tosspot...change your filters maybe so that it's you doing the looking if you feel you're getting pestered. To be fair, it is a swinging site, one might assume people want to meet

block single guys if it gets too much.

You can still look and contact them, if you mail them then they can get around your filters.

Problem solved

If they start bugging you, block em

if they rude and/or abusive report them

then block em

you don't owe anyone anything just cos you're here

I'm not sure why more women don't do this. Each to their own I guess but I think I'd prefer to go looking rather than wade through a pile of people who I thought were unsuitable.

I don't think that the population of this site is typical and representative of people in the UK. I have been horrified, seriously at the readiness of people to resort to abuse when they don't get what they want. The number of seriously damaged people on here must be well above the national average, hence the reduced tolerance of rejection. I try to just block and report but sometimes it hurts a bit to be called a fat old slag etc for saying no thanks. I think possibly my days here are numbered xx

Yes just this morning I got a load of abuse just because I would drop all my days plans to meet a guy who didn't even fit what I'm looking for. Seems mentality of some men is that us women must shag them, must not have preferences etc

Next the knock back, and your a fat slag, strange

Your online, block them, I'm sure you wouldn't put up with it if it was face to face, and I'm sure they wouldn't call you things either.

If they were like that sod em.

Very sensible and far more successful way to find people, if indeed you are here to find people.

You have an inbox that's manageable, you know who the people are because you contacted them and genuinely guys are pleased to be contacted, mostly anyway.

You don't have people begging for meets anymore or a massively full inbox so perhaps that explains the reticence.

Oh as well a having to make an effort and risk rejection.

Don't be the overwhelming majority are not anything like what's described honestly. My experience personally is rude people are rude people, it's not gender specific.

I honestly think sometimes folks get a bit carried away when they describe the amount of hassle they get very publically.

No....

We use the single male filter and search ourselves. No drama and no hassle!

Not that we get pestered or abuse when we occasionally remove it.

If you feel someone is pestering you, block them. Why would you let it slide or put up with it?

It seems that way!

I don't know why people moan about mail, just go looking instead of waiting like a sitting duck. I've never had abuse and I reply to every initial mail. Guys are polite.... if you are polite to them.

I'm off work at the mo and have had a few thinking I can/will meet them because of it. No, mate, a) I am busy getting things done I can't normally do when at work b) you fit none of my preferences c) a 'what time you wanna meet' message is likely to just get you blocked when I have no clue who you are and we have never spoken before.

Easy enough to deal with them. Block, move on.

It was a question re abusive behaviour because I said no, don't assume to know I was getting carried away. I was under the impression the forums where public

I've only had abuse once.

I am not saying you deserve it because you don't and those men shouldn't treat you like that. But you shouldn't be getting constant abuse so maybe either say no thanks and block or think about your profile and how you say no thanks.

We lie all the time when saying no thanks to spare people's feelings.

I get pestered round the clock so your not the only one. I often get abuse when I won't meet someone even when I politely decline. I hide my profile until I feel less pissed off about it then return. I just tell them to fuck off most of the time now though.

Yes it is a swinging site and yes people want to meet - but, to be fair, should that mean people should just meet anyone? People (some) will have standards and preferences and stick by them. That doesn't justify being pestered for a meet.
