Today I did my first ever presentation at a professional conference. Ok, it was only to 100 odd people, but it wasn't my topic of choice. Handshakes & 'well done's' when I was finished, told I should be a lecturer. Thank goodness it's over though & it was good to be appreciated.

Oh & ladies, I wore a suit ofcourse.

Hahaha thanks all. No I didn't imagine them naked, I just didn't focus on any particular faces. I was serving tea at the morning break so I was able to use that as an ice breaker. 'you might recognise me as the guy who serves tea' It got them on my side & made it a little easier.

Thats always my problem when I do those sorts of presentations - once I get my first titter from the audience I have to stop myself from going into the full stand-up comedian routine

But well-done you. I do them all the time and I still hate it.
