Google search photo?

I see a lot of people saying that they've searched an image through google (I think) to see where else it appears on the net. Can someone explain to me how to do that please?

use chrome web browser. right click the image. press search Google for this image.

If you have a separate tab open with a Google page open on, you can also drag an image from one tab into the search bar and drop it, this gives tge same result

If you google "Google Image Search" you go to a page where you can also search for images using an image on your hard drive.
