Possibly Flash Gordon. The film is incredibly camp and it does look as if should the camera pan too far to the right you'd see a chap in a flat cap sat on a stool with cup of tea in his hand, but it just as so much charm it would be a shame to remake it. Unless some humourless git plays it straight and makes it a dark all action film with Arnie playing Prince Vultan.

don't think any classic film should be remade. three i can think of that hollywood made a mess of are, get carter, the lady killers and the remake of psycho.
