On local new that the police are not going to re-investigate the bombing from 40 years ago. Strange that by the courts ruling no one has ever been found guilty of the crime.

Titz Towers, North Notts

After 40 years there is a reasonable possibility that the people involved have passed on.

There is that chance but dies not true justice have no time limit, people have been found innocent after death. Shouldn't the serious crime squad be brought to book over cooking the evidence too

The good friday agreement seems to.be one sided in my opinion they were happy to investigate the bloody sunday

incident involving innocent people therefore the same should go for the birmingham pub bombings.

The people who carried out that and many others are still alive and at large

As is the case of the wrongly imprisoned. If the Birmingham police had done their job properly in the first place then it would have been all done and dusted by now.

Bloody Sunday was carried out by policemen and British soldiers the Birmingham bombings by terrorists. You can garner information from both sides concerning Bloody Sunday so makes an investigation easier.

agreed however its the principal of the matter that counts there are people alive today who know who planted those devices in birmingham, get them to take the stand and swear an oath on the bible and lets see what information comes out we owe to the families of the victims.
