"she was on a program last night and was lookin peachy x x X"

Her mother died of a drug overdose and it's also been confirmed by her father that peaches took drugs at a teen, but was never "that wild". Those were his exact words. Makes you think that she could have hid that away from her father and maybe that's why she got so ill at a young age, maybe not an overdose, but the damage already been done when she given up. Also maybe she turned to them as she couldn't cope with losing her mother at a very young age and didn't grief properly for several years.

You should share your theory with the police, media, and her family. Just in case they need help.

at the time of her mothers death the public took the children into their hearts. there have been news stories following their lives periodically.

Peaches herself, while not hugely famous in the main stream was a well known figure on the fashion scene.

the death of a young mum who's mum famously died young as well is a tragic story that will hit home to many, mothers, children, fathers, siblings etc

"Id be less callous about this if someone was starting a daily thread along the lines of "RIP the millions who've died today leaving behind family". But no, as it's not sad unless you've vaguely heard of them apparently

This sort of grief tourism gets on my tits. "

Feeling sad for one death in no way minimises my sorrow for anyone who dies in tragic circumstances or suffers injustice. Empathy is a renewable resource!

"Top of the news for some reason.

She wasn't even that famous

at the time of her mothers death the public took the children into their hearts. there have been news stories following their lives periodically.

Peaches herself, while not hugely famous in the main stream was a well known figure on the fashion scene.

the death of a young mum who's mum famously died young as well is a tragic story that will hit home to many, mothers, children, fathers, siblings etc"

Exactly..and why it's news...seems a doomed narrative...twenty five is desperately young.

I suspect that the suggestion that she was under criminal investigation is somewhat over the top. It was suggested, by the press (not the police) months ago relating to a tweet. So she probably isn't under investigation and it is nowhere near as serious as your post implies

You start the threads to the millions and we'll see how they pan out. It's a newsworthy story, she's in the public eye. Everyone knows her dad and a lot of people can remember her mum dying. "

No, not everyone knows her Dad, or knew her mum. You may have heard of them. That's not the same thing.

I'd hazard a guess and say everyone who has lived in England who are in your age bracket knows who Bob Geldof is. I was on the forums on my phone when it flashed up on my screen as a news flash so I stuck it up. I'm very sorry if this has upset you, I didn't mean to ruin your fab experience and I shall be careful what I post in the future as I don't wish to offend.

I find it strange the picture she posted last night on twatter!! Her mother holding her as a child. Depression isn't nice I know I suffer with it and have once years ago got caught trying to harm myself. Since then I had help and although suffer at times know where I can get help if needed and my life isn't as fortunate as hers. If she has taken a drug then unfortunately my sympathy will be limited. I feel desperately sorry for her father having to deal with it again opening old wounds, her siblings having to go through this again and also her children, I don't understand why she would want to put her children through the hurt anger upset etc that she's no doubtless had for years. And her children's father having to sit his boys down in years to come to explain it to them. I know it might cause me unpleasant comments on here but if it turns out she's done something she's a selfish selfish young lady.

Heart goes out to Bob Geldoff and his other 2 daughters, not to mention Peaches hubby & 2 children.

Never was a Geldoff fan but he stepped up to the make when Paula died and took on Tiger Lilly which was Paula's daughter from Micheal Hutchins. He showed his real side then. xx

So you partially speculate and also compare your woes to that of another because you have suffered depression. It doesn't qualify you to label Peaches or anyone who actually has commited suicide.

IF she did, then that means her pain was unbearable and overpowered any other emotion, such as a mother's love.

no matter

If you look back through her tweets you will see pic of her son on the bed looking at old fotos. This was just before the mother pic.. perhaps she found it and was just remembering her Mum.

This mothers day my kids downloaded loads of old pics of me too. We do this around special days. I dont really find that abnormal at all.I posted pics of my Mum with the kids too and she been gone 8 years in two weeks time.

However if you look at a foto posted 4 days ago on instagram a night out with a couple of girls you will see how thin she had become. Difficult to say anorexic but if she was, she could have had kidneys pack up or a heart problem. Not really fair to speculate . Her family pics were all happy with the kids. Its very sad. they must all be devastated. RIP Peaches.

Her death is beung treated an non suspiscious but unexplained, so it is a little unfair to make accusations of how she died.

It is a shame though for the family to lose anyone, especially one so young.

I could understand (but not condone) it on the threads after bob crowe and tony benn, but I'm failing to see what harm peaches geldoff ever did? Or what she did to earn such vitriol and spite? She had a childhood that saw the death of her mother and stepfather - personally I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

And as for the ill informed crap posted about mental health, it sadly seems a regular theme on here but disgusts me.

For all of you making wild and judgemental speculations about the cause of death of a mother who died too you remember all the theories about Stephen Gately.

It was suggested over and over that his death was drug related or even that his husband was at fault and he turned out to have an undiagnosed heart defect.

She was an attractive popular young woman and the first thing that sprung into my mind when negative comments started popping up was jealously. My mind hasn't been changed, I would hate to think it was because people were nasty so I'll just presume it's jealousy.

But because it's in the news is why people react. You have no idea what people who have commented do in their spare time for various charities. If joe bloggs who used to live outside the offy on Upper Street died and I posted a thread saying it was sad no one would have a clue who I meant. I might get the odd reply but because it was only me who knew him the thread would be unique to me.
