Good or a bad thing to have limits?

Sometimes a thread gets really 'juicy' towards the end of a thread and i wish it could carry on further, threads take twists n turns and evolve into other subjects.

Once 175 is achieved im left feeling 'meh' but if i were to start part 2 it might be looked down upon as A, im a trouble maker.. and B, it wasnt my original thread to continue

The 'would you shag the one above' threads wouldnt need to be re started every 30mins

It was better back when there wasn't a limit but its bandwidth etc I guess. I prefer the way other forums have a page system though with no limits.
