Club fee's, hotel meets, alcohol and food, condoms, lubes, new undies/outfits, perfumes/aftershaves, make up, razors, fuel to get there

even things like extra water on that last min before shower/bath... washing the bedding after.

can build up pretty quickly.

Yeah we have discovered it's the most expensive hobby we've ever had,

We are going to the social at xtasia and will be looking at in excess of 100 quid before we even take into account food and drink

Titz Towers, North Notts

It's not cheap. I go to a lot of TG event nights and it is generally a 150 mile round trip, so that is £20 in petrol, a new dress £20, a couple of lemonades £3. It does tend to mount up. Mind you, a vanilla friend of mine likes a drink when he's out and he can do £100 just going clubbing in Nottingham.

I think you can meet for very little if planned and maybe local and not have a blowout on new things . Some hotels 25 pounds .. maybe if one has a place they can go to can help with costs. Why a lot into this and get free sex I feel .. could cost 100s if going to a sex worker .Its true . At times when I get letters saying free 2 or 3 hours today can I come around for sex I am made to feel just like that and I am worth more than that its a turn off to me .. sex is better when I know a person .

I was thinking TG events, all that and the ticket cost which is usually £40. Then I realised you probably meant TGirl, not Torture Garden.

Without sounding like a real mingebag, cheap meets are do-able. Premier Inn, couple of bottles of wine, condoms (if you get lucky ha!) and maybe a few quid for some cheeky drinks out. Alcoholand food are pprobably the major expenses, and also the things that can spoil any play (guiness with a curry chaser anyone? )

If you promise 5* lifestyle you've gotta deliver. I prefer to be realistic about what I can afford. I'd rather spend time with people who I get on with than try and impress people with how much I spend. As the old joke goes "we've established what you are, now we're just negotiating the price".

That said, I know (and certainly appreciate) how ladies like to prepare for a meet. I know us blokes have it easier

If you're travelling around to clubs or parties and have hotels then it can get expensive,it's not something we do every week but if we do then we try and make the most of the whole weekend,my favourite is going to London as there's so much to do as well as party

Something like xtasia probably cost us $200 including petrol and hotel. If we go to Tease it is much cheaper probably £50 which is less than we'd pay for a night out in London and comparable to a meal out. We don't consider that excessive. A night clubbing in London will often cost us way over £150 by the time train fares and admission are factored in. Gigs even not drinking will be at least £70 for tickets and transport. So all in we don't think it's overly expensive.

Wouldn't consider clothes amd certainlynot hot watet as a specific swinging expense

When I was swinging with my partner we went through a phase where we were going three times a week to clubs and another couple of meets as well a week. We were filling the car up three times a week so, nearly £200 in petrol!

I don't dress up or spend hours on my hair and make up before I meet. It ends up messed up within half an hour of meeting. If it was costing me a lot of money and time I wouldn't do it. If a man wants me to prance around a room in expensive lingerie, jewelry and shoes he will be buying it

Bit of a generalisation And slightly offensive to suggest men make so lottle effort and women sre obliged too.

And also not always true, i think any man that goes to an event like AC or TG will potentially spend far more on an outfit than a woman for the simple reason women can turn up to tjose events in lingerie and men can't.

In answer to the OP. Yes it can be expensive, but its part of a social thing for us. We don't go out every weekend and we aren't big drinkers as well so when we have a swinging night out it'll cost us a bit for a hotel, drinks etc. but we as we only meet people socially, for us its part and parcel of our social life. We both have friends through the forums who we see at clubs and events and so budget it into our social life budget when the time arises to go to clubs.

have you seen the price of decent lingerie? It gets ruined too with ladders in stockings, an over-zealous lover ripping your bra to get your boobs out, knickers pulled off quickly, rips from teeth etc....not forgetting body fluids. Don't see many men fucking in an Armani suit

....although I did give a blow job to one of my special friends in an expensive suit. I was very careful with the cherry lube

We find that playing local at house partys is the way forward. We attended Newcastle social the other week to see what all the excitement is all about and can honestly say it wasnt for us. We joined the site to play with other like minded people not to sit round and talk bout it. If I want social nights out I would just ring friends and go out with them.

I think if a couple went out for the night, for something to eat and drink, that can end up expensive.

The make up and clothes, come natural to a woman.

The single male must have it worse, my son can do a 100 pound as a single male at a nightclub.

His drinks entrance, taxis and no doubt girls.

We haven't done the clubs yet, coming soon, but what I have found with this social scene, it is more rewarding for me and Watching him having a good time.

the thing is, though, you would buy razors, prefume, undies and make up anyway.

you pay your water rates, so that cant be taken into account, and i suppose you always have fuel in the car.

i reckon the only additional costs that you do actually incur for swinging is purely sex related, so that would be condoms, lube and whatever toys you want/need.

if you only meet people that accomodate, then that removes the hotel costs.

reckon if we meet, it probably costs no more than £20 on drink, unless we are going to a club.

would cost more if we went to the cinema for the evening

Most probably you've all seen me travelling around for meets and events lately. I usually set aside some money for the 'fab' side of things. Something from around £100 - £150 is what i try to work with. Don't want to be spending too much.

Do a lot of my travels by train and can usually find those for quite cheap. Driving for me is quite expensive - my car eats a lot of petrol so it's not really ideal. And most of my meets have been outside of London so works out cheaper like that.

...i think sometimes i spend too much on clothes and shoes lol that's my problem.

Then again, i don't really get to meet much. So, sometimes it's just nice to go out of London for the night and have a laugh, meet new people etc etc. So, the expenses don't really hurt too much lol
