Never been a great fan of roller coasters and that's why

Probably would have enjoyed the rescue though, that would have been cool... and then there's the lawsuit, compensation, trips to Orlando (psychotherapy to get over my fear of roller coasters), then the relaxation holiday in the Maldives as recommended by my therapist, then ....

I used to love the shows and went every year.

But one year (when I was still young and stupid) my mates and I decided to go on the new ride. Because of where the shows were, the ride had to go out over the sea wall. WAS NOT FUN when going forward tipped upside down and dropped about a foot. Isnt really far but at speed and over the water yup my mates and I screamed like little girls

That cured me of my love of roller costers and the shows. Now I am the one who holds bags and coats while everyone else gets the bejesus scared out them

Thing is I am married to a roller coaster freak.

He used to be a wuss about them til he went to Alton Towers with mates in the army. He couldnt back out and risk being ripped for being a wuss.

Went again with mates in college and made them feel like wusses.

He is trying to talk the oldest kid (who has a healthy fear) into trying all the stuff when we go to Blackpool later this year. So far he has failed with everyone except the fearless 7 year old who is like her mum and too short to get on anything but the kiddie rides, so looks like he will be quing alone
