You're young. I used to have a downer on having a bit of a big nose but as I've gotten older, I've accepted it and now it's not even an issue I think about, was all pretty much in my head.

Once I accepted it, it hasn't held me back the only thing I regret is worrying about it too much when I was younger, I should have been chatting up women instead of worrying about what they might think.

My point is, it's not as bad as you are worrying about, you'll look back in time and think 'what was I even worrying about", don't let that one idiot from your past ruin your confidence.

Im the same i lost 4.5 stone over the last 18 months but i see still see a big big fat fella when i see a photo or look in the mirror im same clothes size as my brother (just average) now and i dont think he fat at all its fukin mad innit. there was a programme on on Ch4 one night where certain people were selected to describe themselves to an artist (like a police artist impression) and then they introduced that person to a group of strangers and asked them to describe the person to the artist so as to compare pics...... they ALL described themselves with things like fat too small of chest and too big old and so on but when they were shown that the strangers had described (and they were all the same) a much much slimmer younger person nothing wrong with anything of them really So it just proves all we see is the worst NOTHING else the secret is (well for me anyways) is "not to give a fuk" if i was struck blind tomorrow i would give anything to see myself again. Chin up you sure we are all "fabulous" thats why we joined the "fab" site xoxo

Confidence and self acceptance does get better with age.

There are things about yourself that you can change, there are things about you that you can't.

Over time you will address both.

In the mean time, get on with living your life with a positive outlook.

The good news is there are more guys out there who will make you feel better about yourself than there are guys who will knock you down ... but you will never get ahead til you accept yourself and your body x

We all have parts we think could be better, the chances are no one else notices them, the reason I put my torso pictures up I think my legs are too skinny, if you show the asset you like best the chances are people will see that rather than the others, if you try and hide the feature (s) you re unhappy with you ll draw more attention to them, my case in point Bobby charltons comb over he was concious about being bald the comb over drew peoples attention to the very thing he was trying to hide,

So if you want to hide your feature get a comb over,

I hate my body but thankfully there are people who when I'm with them make me feel sexy and say they can't get enough of me so as long as that keeps happening the better I'm starting to feel about myself

I lost 2 stone but don't see it when I look in the mirror and have only just started getting used to buying dresses in a 14-18 and knickers in a 14-16 as was still walking around in my old size which of course was too big.

well i have got one leg longer than the other amongst other things.

we cant all look perfect can we, so you just have to accept what you have got and concentrate on your best bits.

it can hurt when people say nasty things but its partly their problem if it bothers them that much how you look.

Lot of people who say you look awful dont look any better themselves, you will always get some people who think you look ok and some who think you dont.

the thing i like about fab is there are all different types and what they look like doesnt stop them having fun.

I recently met a very slim young man who wanted me to take my top off, i prefer to keep it on but i took it off anyway, makes me laugh when i think about it, if he wasnt bothered about it why should i.
