Came back to car tonight to find some nice person has scraped the side of my car not even left a note! Has any one tryed Chipsaway if so what are thay like?

My local Tesco is in the city centre and is about 10 mins walk away. I don't need a car to get there. I find that I don't get scratches nor lose wing mirrors when I choose to visit that particular vendor

If you have a fairly decent car and you don't want scratching or dingin' take up two spaces

People might call you all sorts of wonderful and colourful names for being so mean as taking up 2 spaces in their tescos car park but hey! Your only popping in for a few minutes and not doing any harm your just protecting your interests and helping people that

have no concept of how wide a

shopping trolley is and will it fit in between those very flash cars parked beside each other in their marked out parking spaces

Just having a rant got totally lost there and a little carried away if it makes sense well and good

If not just ignore it and sorry for waisting yer time ......

i always scratch cars that take up two spaces.

Nothing wrong with parking in a quieter space a few yards further from the door

I disagree.

I only park in the one space and dont take up two. I do however park in the great space of empty spaces furthest away from the door much to dismay of my passengers. When I come out my car always has a buch of cars parked next to it wtf??? Theres loads of spaces to park in. Why park right next to me at the furthest point away from the store???

However, deliberately scratching cars on the car park is pretty poor imo. Shame on you!

Get yourself a sprog and park in the 'parent and child' spaces - they have wider gaps.

If you don't want the long term expenses and life long expensive commitment simply borrow one from a neighbour whenever visiting supermarkets.

the more annoying ones are the ones that come whoosing in to the carpark in there rangerover/bmw park in the disabled spaces then toddle around the shop without displaying a blue badge i always challenge them .

yes ive used chipsaway a few times,very good and use original colouring to match,i had a rear wheel arch scraped badly and they did a perfect job on that,and another time the drivers door had a minor dent as though it had been leaned against,and they tapped that out without disturbing the paint..

as for tescos i park away from the main door,as for taking up two spaces i see people tend to dive through either side of a car with there trollies as its easier to get through.so more chance of any damage.

The most annoying ones are the so called disabled drivers that swan into their designated space, spring out of their car gazelle like and trot across to the entrance like their tripping the light fantastic! The DWP should be the ones viewing the store's CCTV.

In answer to the OP yes in our experience they did a good job of getting out the very tiny but visible dent.

Like the idea of borrowing a child to use the parents space. Could even charge the toddlers folks babysitting money which every little helps in the shopping bill. Excuse the pun.

Or you could have a bashed up old car that smokes and bangs. That way you could be the basher instead of the bashie.

A lot of the company cars at work, are repaired by Chips Away. From what I have seen, the repairs are pretty good.
