My first ever meet around 4 years ago, not from this site I hasten to add, we arranged a hotel meet. We'd spoken for a couple of weeks on the site and text, got on really well and he suggested it. I, probably rather stupidly, booked a room in a hotel near him. We spoke on the phone the day before and I was happy he was genuine and would show. Anyway, he never did and after many texts stalling for time I never heard from him again. Wasted 2 days and 60 quid, I was fuming.

I put a fake profile on that site and tried to get him to book a hotel. The shit this guy came out with was unbelievable, bullshit city! It took 3 fake profiles to get him but eventually he booked a room, ironically the same hotel as I was stuck in waiting for him. So how the tables turned and ooops, she never showed. I sent all the texts he did that night and the penny dropped. I doubt he'll ever do that to someone again. Disrespectful twat!!!!

I certainly did, laughing my ass off as he sent more and more abusive texts then realised who I was! I really don't know how someone can do that to another person, knowing they've spent money on a hotel, clearly no morals and no bollocks presumably preferring the chase than the actual catch. All talk and full of shit. I know karma will see to these people but I just helped it along

AT Flores, in the Azores Sir Richard Grenville lay,

And a pinnace, like a flutter’d bird, came flying from far away;

“Spanish ships of war at sea! we have sighted fifty-three!”

Then sware Lord Thomas Howard: “’Fore God I am no coward;

But I cannot meet them here, for my ships are out of gear,

And the half my men are sick. I must fly, but follow quick.

We are six ships of the line; can we fight with fifty-three?”

From "The Revenge" by Tennyson....

Oh why did the subject line instantly drag that up from my memory of schooldays...?

No, the first attempt he deleted his profile before we swapped numbers. He put a new profile up a few days later so the second was on my BBM pin which isn't linked to my number and the third and final successful attempt was a pay as you go sim in my old phone.

Karma is not instant - it happens in the next lifetime, if you believe in Karma. What catches the wrong-doer is the lesson they needed to learn from a previous lifetime. If they are still making the same mistakes then they haven't learned the lesson.

After an ex being horrible to me (was in my teens). He asked for help to dye his hair bright blue.

I lied to him and said his hair was too dark for the blue to show and it'd need to be bleached blonde.

Dyed his hair bright blonde, then blue straight after..... It went turquoise and he spent the summer wearing a cap cause of how hellish it looked.... still he never called me a fat cow again strangely

Damn right. Karma is just a word people use to console themselves that the person who harmed them with get hurt without them having to do anything.

To anyone who believes in karma I'd have to ask do you also believe there are fairies at the bottom of the garden? It is fiction.

People will say oh yeah well so and so hurt me then this thing happened to him. That is life, good and bad things happen to everyone in life.

Karma is the most bitter pill to swallow. And the unpleasant after taste it leaves in your mouth is the receipt - to not treat others the way that you don't want to be treated. And to never take anyone for granted including the blessings that are all around us each and every day.
