"What movie endings do people enjoy and why? I really enjoy the final scene of The Good, the bad and the ugly. The cinematography is superlative. The way the camera switches from person to person, gathering speed to the music and what a score! The music is fantastic and really build the scene up, right to the point where they draw. That's enough waxing lyrical for the day from me. " I love that one too! The most expensive Spaghetti Western ever made.

"I like a proper ending. I want to KNOW what happens and not have to imagine what may have been. Or is that terribly old fashioned , fab film buffs ? " And thats the reason why the book is always better for me, its about imagination

"If anyone has seen The Mist with Thomas Jane then you know the ending of that is probably one of the most gut wrenching, heart breaking twists of any film made !!! The film itself isnt amazing but worth watching just for the ending !!! " Especially if you read the short story. Frank Darabont completely flipped it on its head to make even Stephen King look like a children's storyteller. I think the film as a whole is very clever in a 50's B-Movie tribute sort of way. But damn, they needed to kill that bible bashing psycho sooner!

The way he was kicked off his own show, The Walking Dead, proved that it makes him look like a dick, but he does it because he believes in what he does so passionately. I still like the Walkin Dead but it lagged for two and a half seasons without him. The way the Mist ends is just so sick, but in the way horror films need to take notice of. There are bad endings, unhappy endings and shock endings. The Mist draws parallels!
