Delete apps that you dont use. Install a memory card and move all your pictures onto that.

Clear out your cache, history. Delete all the picture thumbnails. Delete as many texts as you can. Reboot the phone to clear out any other cache thingys.

See if you can transfer any apps to your memory card instead of internal phone memory.

Not sure if the texts will keep trying to come through. Get someone to send a text now and see if it comes through when you've cleared the phone out.

There is a great app called 'Clean Master' I would highly recommend.

It clears out all the junk for you and also closes apps to free up ram (so your phone works a bit faster.

It also has a handy 1 touch clean thing that does everything so you don't even need to open it to do it.

Install Android Assistant.

Open it. Hit 'Quick clean'

Follow instructions.

My guess is that your cache and icon caches are maxed out.

I've got this app too.

It sorts out a lot of clutter

Any time you think the phone is showing down hit the 1tap and it frees up a lot of memory.

See if it has a little slot for a mini SD card, try transferring some apps onto it, most won't let you, but if a few move that's great. When my shows low on space and I've deleted stuff and the usual stuff I turn it off and on again. Miraculously the low on space 'sign' goes x

Once installed a memory card, download App2SD. It tells you what apps can be moved, can't be moved, can be moved but shouldn't be moved, as well as clearing cache.

There are two sorts of memory - system memory and physical storage... Think Rom and Ram

The former is what's used to actually run programs and it sorts through all of the apps which have background apps running which aren't necessary - you'd be surprised what's calling your system memory at any one time !

There's also cache memory which has junk data. This is Internet browsing history, temporary files, and downloads etc.

It also asks you which aps you might wish to shut down and also which apps you haven't used in a long time.

Is very intuitive and easy to use

Not everyone has the money for those, or wants one.

My S2 does this when internal memory is full. My phone is rooted with a custom rom every now & again I need to back up & restore as the phone tends to save apps info. Funny old things. Download titainium its great at back up & restore.
