"No, if all else fails a night on the town and the room is cheaper than a 2.am taxi fare home.... And i never struggle for company "Nobody did say you struggled for company so no need to point it out unless its an issue of not wanting people to think you do. I can understand the need to save money in general I would just resume most people would book a room for a pre planned occasion rather than book a room because its cheap then organise something round a discounted room. It does go to show though how marketing gets people to buy a bargain that they don't necessarily need I have to admit there is some clever product promotion about. | |||

You have be it inadvertently let me know all I need to know on this on this occasion so I won't trouble you further but feel free to respond I am always interested in the explanation/justification principle.  | |||

"we do it too, not because of the "clever marketing" but because its nice to have something to look forward to and also because we like to get out for a change of scenery and to explore new places, for a bit of "us" time. the fact it is a bargain price also makes it all the better and if you get the chance of a meet, then its an even bigger bargain. but to just get away cheaply, have a meal, maybe a show or cinema, a few drinks, its nice, you should try it sometime. | |||
