With 94,000 other single guys with pictures on their profiles, yes. Why get involved in messaging someone who may send you a pic and you not fancy them? It only leads to the awkward moment of turning someone down and giving a reason and you can hardly tell someone you don't like their face. It is much easier just to look on profiles with pics for someone whose face you do like
