Actually I think I would like to know.

Then a couple of months before the date I can apply for shit loads of credit cards and max the lot out, going on holidays and spoiling the kids, buying them all the stuff I have never been able to afford lmao

depends.

if once you know your date NOTHING will ever change it, then yes, would be great craic living like a loon for the rest of my days, having no fear of dying by jumping out of, or off, things one shouldnt do.

however, if it makes no difference, then i really dont see the point in finding out

I'd quite like a rough idea...for example am I gonna live well into pension age in which case I should seriously be considering AVCs and buying extra years or whatever or am I gonna drop dead prior or just after retirement in which case the AVCs convert to more holidays now

This would open up all sorts of issues.

You could be a daredevil and walk Niagara Falls on a tightrope. You could bet money playing Russian Roulette, all sorts of stuff. Run up lots of debt and cover it with a big life insurance policy.

But then it may say you will die in agony 17 May 2014 and that is not funny.
