Works for me....but plenty see it as being rude, wrongly so. Do what works for you and you won't go wrong.

There is always someone on here who will take offence to anything you do, can't win! X

Best way, when I was a single female on another site, they would come back a few weeks later, maybe they didn't realise.

But you think for gods sake take the hint ( no offence) so Yes, you can also set yourself a clean slate.

I think it's the best thing ladies and couples get enough messages if they say not interested no point in sending anymore

If it works for you then go for it. Some people will take offence but some people on here will take offence at the slightest thing!

We do. Prevents any fruitless ping-ping of communication.

Totally agree. I never used to block but I get the same people I have said no to before contacting me again and again. So now I block. It saves everyone's time.

I wouldn't worry too much if they take offence....they can't do bugger all about it as they're blocked

Very true. Also. You don't know they have taken offence because they can't let you know. Maybe they are not fussed.

I think it's a good use of the block button, some people will take offence locked in an empty room with a paper bag.

My block list is now over 200, I have absolutely NO problem blocking anyone who deserves it.....consequently, I get very little hassle on this fabulous site.

That fucking bag was looking at me funny!!!

It wouldn't bother me if I were blocked after saying no thanks, to be honest, I don't think I'd even realise as I seldom look at profiles after responding...I do make a private note prior to responding that I've said no in case they message again in which case I'd possibly block them then

Not a fan of the block either way however on a regular dating site I had a mail from someone saying ".hi I was.born in your town etc..."

I then pointed out to her she had a poor memory as she had previously blocked me, then spoken, texted arranged a meet cancelled with a lame excuse then never rearranged.....

Shes blocked now.
