Last night, I dreamt I was driving home with 2wheels and we were returning from adopting a very cute and fluffy ginger kitten. The feel of his fur as I was stroking him has really stuck in my head. When I woke up and realised we didn't actually have a ball of fluff, I was really very disappointed and quite sad.

What dreams have stuck in your mind for one reason for another?

Unfortunately I rarely dream anymore but most of them were recurring. The golden elevator was one of the more memorable

I actually dreamed of poltergeists alot until I dreamed that we got a cat. It was a black and white cat, identical to the one we have now. I dreamed that she liked me to leave a movie playing on the laptop as I slept because she was scared of the dark. Then one night I woke (in the dream) to find the laptop being dragged into a corner as the cat watched from beside me. She ran into the corner and started fighting with whatever it was. The next day (still in the dream) mum had called the police because she thought I'd gone crazy but they started investigating the strange goings on in the house instead because the cat had literally caused the poltergeists to go mental.

A couple months later, we got given this cat (in real life) and the dreams stopped.

had you been discussing your desire to attend "killing kittens" ? and that triggered the kitten dream ?

"I often dream of falling or flying. "

I fall a lot in my dreams. A crashing plane, a falling lift, a collapsing platform, a breaking roller coaster, slipping off a cliff edge. It's a recurring theme for me and no idea why.

"Unfortunately I rarely dream anymore but most of them were recurring. The golden elevator was one of the more memorable

Why was it memorable for you?

crystal"

Well, Crystal lol...

The inside was decorated like something you would see in an old hotel but all gold panelling, and there were no buttons, it read your mind. It was a bit like the Tardis from Dr Who, and I dont even care about Dr Who, so why???

But it would always reoccurr in dreams specifically about a disaster or a moment of inescapable danger where I knew I was about to die.

Fuck running up the stairs of a building during an earthquake when the floor is disappearing beneath my feet, I'll just jump in the elevator and accept the fact that I'm probably dead. Even in my dreams I'm no spring chicken lol

But then it started taking me to a reoccurring place. A hotel that was like a maze of rooms, all structured and designed the same way the elevator was. Completely deserted all but for the ghosts of my past.

Essentially, I think I spent those dreams in limbo.

Mine is me flying like Peter Pan. Or falling like Alice down a rabbit hole but with no rabbit hole.

A couple of years ago my sister gave birth to my nephew, about 6 months after he was born I had a dream that I was looking after him on a day out somewhere. We must have been somewhere high up because he was walking along a ledge and slipped and went over the edge.I then reached out in my sleep and grabbed the pint glass which was on my bedside table and smashed it in my hand thinking I was grabbing him!!Left me with a nice gashed hand.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Dreams I remember usually have something I can work through and find out what is going on.

The therapist I am working with at the moment has managed to help me see one very persistent and regular dream for what it is and I don't have it anymore. I don't wake myself up screaming so often either.

Be the kitten and see what it is you are really craving.
