So completely off topic for a swingers site but from experience, I know there are some very knowledgeable and caring folk on here.

If there are any wound specialists out there that could answer a couple of questions for me, would you message me please?

Many thanks.

What if said wound is not in the knicker area?

I would say does it have anything to do with your head being up your bottom?

"Depends on type of wound

Surgical, sutured."

Are you hoping to speed up the healing process or is something amiss?

Wash with tepid, slightly salted water, pat dry gently with clean towel or kitchen roll. Leave open to air, or use a light bandage but NOT a plaster - they can restrict air-circulation.

Nothing amiss.

My understanding of optimal healing is a moist environment is better and I was wondering if this is true and wanted to ask anyone with that knowledge.

I've also been reading the advice on bathing/showering or not with sutures and I'm after opinions about that.

To reduce scarring, moist is better for the first few days - antiseptic cream under a bandage. To speed skin adhesion, dry is better.
