Torquay

The latest family to move into our road are Lottery winners, we would never have know but our resident nosey neighbour found out and delighted in letting us all know in a round about way.

They are lovely people, look like being good neighbours and bloody good luck to them.

Worse thing i done was tell the then wife.

She had it all planned, pay off this, get the house done up and went on a cheap budget holiday.

In hindsight i should had blown it on a divorce as its going to cost me now

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

"i know one person who won £200,000 was tight before even worse now"

To be fair that's understandable to me. That kind of money is obviously very very nice, but it doesn't get you anywhere near being set up for life. You still get the problem of a sudden increase in "friends", and 15 family members all expecting 10% though.

I think there's a level of win below which nobody expects anything, and a level above which you can feel able to look after people. But they're not the same level!

A syndicate at work won a rather large amount - although there was a lot of them in the syndicate which diluted the amount each got quite considerably. Sadly I've never even won a tenner!

Couldn't agree more... wouldn't even buy you a decent 1 bed in London. Would sure help a bit though.

I find people who call others tight quite funny. Some people I have known have called me tight, others have called me generous. Guess who the ones are I like to share with? ...and guess how I responded to the ones who called me tight?

Noone should expect anything from anyone... multi millionaire or not.

Notting

If i won the biggie i would tell no one,.

I would of course divvy up some money for my family and close friends - and as i already know who they are there is no worries there.

For the kids or family i not to keen on - i would put it in my will, so they would get it after i am gone!!!

LOL

Slag me off they would, but then i would secretly know that i left em summat, hehehehe

Not that they would appreciate it - as they never do.

Some people are just plain greedy.

And tight.

Greedy and tight. Grrrr.

Anyways - i never won a tenner - and i have never changed me numbers since it started, so hmmm, my luck eh.

Family and friends can bloody WAIT!!!

LOL

Always been afraid of doing this, what if you forget to get one next week and then they come up? You'd be soo pissed off!!!

I did once win £35 ish one week, followed by £10 the next.

LOL

Its a DEAD cert that if i changed em next week they would come up.

Grrrrr.

Its a bugger - cos once you had em for so long, you know exactly what numbers you got, where as if you did a lucky dip each week it wouldnt matter cos you wouldnt remember what numbers you had.

I did win the raffle once on a camping trip!!!

Won a battery light candle and a picnic hamper thingy!!!

LOL

Thats me lot ladies and gentlemen - so if ya want a woman with money - please walk on!!! LOL
