Clearly its there loss for having a wonderful opportunity and then being stupid enough to throw it away. Yeah is very frustrating that's for sure we have all been then but you will get your just rewards for being the better people and moving on. Hope you feel better for off loading in the rant..

Not having a go at single blokes per se , however the one time I tried arranging a large group session for the other half out of 10 confirmations, after talking etc and verifying we had the sum total of 3 turn up. 2 close family deaths, 3 mysterious car trouble incidents last minute and 2 people that obviously died as there was no contact, until months afterwards after they were reincarnated and messaged us anew. Met some great singles but it can be bloody hard work sometimes.

Ive had a few guys that cancel or dont turn up. Its annoying, time wasting and frustrating.

Its not down to bad choices. U cant tell if sumone will cancel or not show up.

Unfortunately it will alwaz happen whether its male/female or couples.

Ppl dont care that they will let someone down.

You're getting a bit of a bashing in this thread so here's my thoughts..

I meet couples.

In fact couples are the only thing i'm interested in UNLESS a single fem jumps out at me.

But..

A suggestion from me would be to get into a chat with those guys you're interested in meeting and "gauge" the level of intent.

Most single guys will do one of two things, they will either hype themselves up or bottle it pretty quick.

You should be able to gauge that pretty fucking fast.

Also make it clear to those guys that you're definitely interested in meeting, it could be that they thought you were just full of shit. I'm not saying you are, i'm just giving you the single guys perspective here.

Read their veris, make sure they are genuine and definitely DO meet.

A lot of this really falls into the umbrella of you're selection process.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Exactly so. I have managed to avoid the no shows, but it is a constant battle to try and out the lies, and I see no clear way to avoid them. Down to earth guys or educated, communicative professionals alike, with a list of veris as long as your arm or none at all, will almost all still try and bullshit.

Maybe those of us who find this talk in more depth or something - sometimes it takes time for the lies to become apparent? It seems almost ubiquitous though, and were it not for a couple of gorgeous charming young men and a good friend or two on here in the afternoon, I was almost ready to throw in the towel after the latest revelation.

Everyone lies now and then, some more than others, not just guys. I recently chatted to a guy, got on really well, thought I was onto a winner then said after a week of chatting the day before we planned to meet that he had a girlfriend. It was clear on my profile I don't meet married/attached guys so he either didn't read it at first or said it to get out of meeting. I noticed he met a woman a few days later who also had she wasn't interested in attached guys on her profile so I guess it slipped his mind to tell her. Sad really but its life on here.

We are gonna agree with Steel here , ask no questions , get no lies .

We are here for one reason and that is to enjoy NSA sex with like minded folk .

The more you know about someone , the more likely you are to find out what you may not wanna know .

This is why we love clubs , a quick chat , play , jobs a good un , happy days .

So if someone is fond of lying etc.... We don't know about it and don't want to .

well, just to even things up a little

we have organised 2 separate meets with 3 single guys, and the 2 we met together turned up, so thats a 66% hit rate.

however, we have organised to meet around 8 different single women, just for a social drink to see how things go, and 1 actually turned up, so thats just over a 12% positive turn out.

guess who we feel are the bigger time wasters on the site, per head.

I think it's general personally.

I stopped trying for meets on here for that reason, and also because I'm so busy that if someone else is too, it almost never happens

Well we have found single guys are more reliable than couples or single femmes but really its down to how you chat to them and get to know them a half arsed attitude to people gets you far less commitment.
