I have been on the receiving end of police intimidation

I used to have a Peugeot 207 S16 which is factory standard with full body kit, spoiler and full body graphics. Google it to see what I mean.

Used to have police stop me a few times and run insurance checks etc

Had a Copper stop me one night and ask me who's car is it, where was I going. Then found it appropriate to ask if I've ever been to prison, to which I said no. Then asked well do you want to? To me that's intimidation.

Once all the checks came back OK they let me go

They do it to see if you'll crumble and own up to anything before they have to find out for themselves. It should be entrapment, because innocent people have been pressured into owning up to things they didn't do because they were so intimidated!

I waded into a d*unk gang two years back right after they threatened to stab my neighbour and then moved onto the elderly couple telling them to just stop and walk away.

The police turned up two weeks later with not only a really badly inconsistent story put together by two of their mothers (of all people lol), and immediately I could also tell that the inspectors had thrown in their own little twist.

A week later they were all up for perverting the course of justice (except for the coppers of course) and so was the taxi driver friend of the family who claims he just so happened to be there.

Regardless of all my neighbours statements, they still tried to get me to own up to the story that I just saw them hanging around and started laying into them. Twats!

In response to people saying how we all need the police sooner or later, when I was a kid, I was assaulted by a gang of d up grown men on a train station because they felt like it.

A few weeks later, I saw the policeman that took my statement and said hello. he told me to fuck off!

The police force is populated by people, as in all walks of life there will be a percentage of bad, as someone who has had his collar felt once or twice...ish i have the utmost respect.

After all what is the alternative

Every group of people is going to have some that are open to corruption or have low standards and are deceitful.

The sad thing about the cops is that they became a pawn for the politicians, probably especially so since the miners' strike under thatcher, up to the student protests and kettling etc.

They've suffered as a result, as the public are less trusting, and they've probably attracted a more aggressive type of person, who identifies with such bullying tactics.

The SAS are a good equivalent force, where it's about brain and fitness. A lot of the police seem to have less fitness today, though I do find many attractive and have dated/shagged amongst the ranks.

I'm also less attracted to a hiviz encrusted person than a good proper uniform. Hiviz can work on labourers etc, but less so on the police, imo.
