Money accidentally donated to wrong charity

Well, (according to the Metro), people donating to cancer research have been accidentally donating to the wrong cause.

The correct word to send is "BEAT", but some people have been texting the word "DONATE" and sending to Unicef. Also phones have been auto-correcting and sending the word "BEAR", that's WWF's Adopt a polar bear.

--------------------------------------

Since the #nomakeupselfie campaign has raised over £8million so far, I think having other charities, even accidentally, is a good thing.

"And your point posting this is? "

Probably be careful when entering a special word to donate.

"And your point posting this is? "

There is no point, it's a news story that people may or may not want to comment on.

"And your point posting this is? "

Because people have donated on this site and probably don't know.
