With no games and can't software hack it to play pirated games.

Any idea what to do with it? Just started the 14 day trial of ps+

(Promised him I wouldn't sell it)

Look up all the decent games (I'd start with te exclusives) then scour eBay for some bargains.

Buy them off ebay. You can get some good deals on auction, then when you're finished resell on ebay, but on buy it now. You will probably make a profit but at least get your money back.

Latest....

I got the 14 day free trial of Playstation Plus, downloaded Bioshock Infinite, got off the boat, hated the moving with twin sticks approach, turned off playstation and stuck it in a cupboard.

Seems I much prefer mouse and keyboard. Unless it's a driving game....
