There's nothing like an animals trust. It makes me feel so happy. When I had my new baby in December she just sat on my bed all the while and now she follows me everywhere and sits next to me, she even half socialises with others, but its so lovely to see how they come on with love and affection, I'd be completely lost without my cats

I don't dislike dogs but know I couldn't look after one properly. My mum had gold retrievers and they where lovely dogs

My old cat is 22 and I love him to bits. He and I have been through good times and bad and he's never been nervous of me, even when I've had to take him to the vets for ops and jags.

I'd be so heartbroken if something were to happen to him.
