When did it start and why

Ok not sure why I started thinking about this but,

Has anyone any idea when and why we started shaving our bit's,???

I know it's not for everyone,personally I do and prefer partners to be or at least well trimmed,but like everything else each to there own.

After so long I would hate to think about going down on an unshaven woman now. Karen started shaving about 10 years ago and would dearly love to have it laser treated is we could afford it.

I have to laugh when I look back though. All those pre pubescent schoolgirls way back when, wanting pubes because it was such a 'grown up' look. Now we have the same women many years down the line shaving them off because its so much better. Both for cleanliness and sexual activity.

When i was at school we where doing some project and i had to get a book out the library on bugs and stuff. In it was a picture of pubic lice magnified and i got it into my head i had them so shaved all my hair of my fanny. Then i was natural all my life until only a couple of years ago. I prefered it natural, someone asked if they could shave me and ive never looked back, usually very closely trimmed now

The Egyptians use to practise the art of shaving, also the turks(ottomans) shaved thier entire bodies from time to time so quite far back really, but don't really know how far back peeps have been shaving thier bits.
