Haha, it's a man thing, an achilles heel a bit like like manflu - we ladies change them in seconds with a flourish!!

I find the inside out thing the easiest, but it is a bit of a fight for me as well, due to being fun sized, I don't have any height advantage

Push one top corner in up to a corner, then the other, holding each corner slide the cover down a bit on that side (like you were pulling a ladies skirt back down haha) the put the bottom corners in place and lift and shake by the bottom corners - voila!

Gravesend

fold the duvet in half longways and in half again longways so it looks like a W from the end ... push inside the cover and grab a corner through the cover at the top corner .. unfold and push the other corner to the remaining top corner .. hold up and shake ... simples

I do, but for some reason I'm always fighting with the cat at the same time! No idea why! But a bloody knackering experience

I've done all of those ways and down the stairs too. In summer I like a thick throw instead. It goes in the washing machine and no cover

Top tip ~ peg the corners with a clothes peg, makes the shaking process a lot easier

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I do struggle a little to change the cover on my king size duvet but I do usually have two large, fluffy cats "assisting".

At least one cat ends up inside the cover with the duvet every time.

Great tip... Its the shaking process I struggle with, I find standing on the bed and jumping while I shake makes it a little easier lol

Never had a problem changing them. Nothing beats the feeling of fresh ironed bedding!

That sounds like a video I saw once on YouTube of a Japanese lady doing this crazy, ninja t-shirt folding trick.

Just found it:

Some days it goes on no problem, other days it's like two duvets suddenly jumped in and won't fit! I've had the dog attack me cos of all the flapping! lol

If you have a king size use the landing at the top of the stairs for extra dangle height! Makes the shakedown easier.
