Hi has anyone ever seen a profile and realised that you know that person and did you say anything? I saw my wife's sister on here she is no longer here

We received a meet request from a guy I work with, had to block him and never mentioned anything to him, this is a reason we dont put pics up.

then people give you abuse for not showing pictures, but this is the reason why i hide mine!

Yes we've seen a couple if people we know on here , depending on the person depends on if we say anything or not lol , one was blocked straight away as we didn't want them knowing, another we justo passed a causal comment over and chatted about it after

Exactly, I dont see why lots of people have an issue with profiles not showing pics, we never meet at the drop of a hat, if we like the first mail from contact we will chat, if we still like them and interested in meeting we will exchange pics, dont see the need before this

We got contacted by a young couple a few years ago now, luckily they used their real names and we knew exactly who they were, we'd only been sitting in our daughters garden with them the weekend before! They didn't have a clue who we were and although we have pics, we never show face ones until we know who we're talking to thank goodness.

I have often wondered about this. Personally it does not worry me as there is a sort of mutually assured destruction. Someone would not be able to expose you in a nasty way to a mutual acquaintance without making it known that they also swing?

My cousins son was on here a few years ago. He was out of my age range but he'd looked at my profile. Blocked

I never message anyone so don't send my face pic till I'm quite satisfied that the other person is genuine.

I know 2 sets of people on here and happily so. Both couples are friends in different circles and don't know each other so that still keeps all aspects of my life separate.

We have found a close friend and partner on here along with the mum and dad of a girl in our daughters class at school. No problems encountered. At the end of the day we are all on here for the same thing
