Off to the drs this afternoon... for a smear and a sexual health check...

means I get a paper bag of condoms as a pressie. They always say would you like flavoured or natural.

I go every 3months how often do you get checked..

im totally honest with my nurse.

If i've been meeting then i'd get myself checked. If i haven't been sexually active there's no point in me going i don't think.

Play safe but still get tested every 3 months. If that's a big if I wasn't meeting then I wouldn't have check ups

On average every three months, depending on how busy I've been. Love getting freebies and because they know I'm a swinger they give me extra

How did the drs/nurses react to you telling them you was a swinger..

my nurse who ive known for the last 11years is lovely.. then I moved house so had to move surgery's. Was quite nervous in telling the new nurse but she again was just as nice and is actually quite nice.

Is it prudent if you've had a meet to get tested and then even if you don't have another meet still get tested 3months later to allow for incubation?

It's not come up as either one of us has been active within 3 months but just wondered if this is how others do it?

technically, yes, that's how it should be done. back home they recommend monthly testing if you live a high risk lifestyle, and sorry guys and gals of the forum but swinging is considered high risk.

See really you should but to make that effective you have to wait for the right time period after the meet... Then wait for the test results... As I can play a few times a week it wouldn't be possible

it works pretty quick for the bacterial infections, it's the viral nasties that take time to show up in the body.

We go every two to three months depending on what we've been up to.

We're completely honest with them and they no longer ask for numbers. They know us quite well .... I did say the last time that saying hi as I arrive is great but if they use my name before I sign in it singles me out as a tart!!

I don't either. There's just a few pretty nasty people who repeatedly attack others for their choices. Apparently even in the 'liberal' world of swinging there are arbitrary invisible lines you're not meant to cross. Think a lot of this is deep-seated.

Dignity is sometimes being the bigger person and not reacting to idiots, I'm still trying despite 14 years of play!
