Alarm clock

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I have one of those body clock things which wakes you up with light of increasing intensity. Mine has birdsong as the alarm which goes off at the set time.

Normally it's quite a relaxing way to come round. This morning it annoyed the living shit out of me. All that blasted twittering and tweeting. I wanted to hurl the thing at a wall.

Fortunately it has an off switch and isn't real twittering.

Has anything wound you up already this morning?

I suspect I might too. I'm tempted to just stay in bed and avoid everything/everyone.

Or I could go and take it out on some shelves I need to sand.

Both true. My fury at my alarm clock is entirely irrational and daft, I know.

I need to chill out somehow.

No I woke up in a happy mood this morning....

But there is plenty of time for that to change.

I'm not pissed off with anything in particular. I'm just flat out angry. It's difficult to let go of it when it's got no focus.

It's really odd.

That's outrageous! You should go back to bed and start over.
