I guess this is what makes it an interesting debate. I like a man (and woman) to have a simialr sense of humour and a quick wit. If that is not there, if there is not a connection at mental, cerebral level I am not interested. Why woudl I want to shag anyone with whom I have nothing in common?

I think the worry is that people sometimes use terms like intelligence, classy, professional etc to distinguish themselves from others who they consider beneath them. Whether this is what is intended or not, it is often viewed as such and as it can read as such sometimes I find myself reading posts in the voice of Margot Leadbetter for those old enough to remember.

If I had to choose, between someone who believes themselves to be intelligent but used that as a tool to differentiate and someone more humble, id pick humility.

That is my view folks, im not expecting anyone else to agree, but it's my view.

m theory seems to be more accepted over the last few years although does obviously incorporate string theory so, a good conversation starter still.

Back to the op, I think it's one of those assets that compliments someone's personality. For example, we've been chatting to some very intelligent people in clubs but the personality is a bit lacking...

When your chatting and the other person(s) pick up on the subtle innuendos and humorous undertones, we tend to forget discussing inter dimensional branes and get fucking. but that's just us.

If it's job and knock, then I suppose it doesn't really matter, but as we can see from the posts, most people desire a certain level of social/people skills, I guess if a connection is made physically AND mentally you're more inclined to want further meets, and the community grows.

Personally, I like someone who communicates well around all subjects.. They say the brain is biggest sexual organ, that's nonsense after some of the weapons I've seen on here
